In pursuance of the Self-Reliant India Campaign, the Government of India has announced an economic package of Rs. 20 lakh crore to revive the Indian economy.

Finance minister Nirmala sitaram 20 lakh crore package detail declared to live press conference.

For MSMEs, collateral free automatic loans of Rs 3 lakh crore will be provided. This is for a term of 4 years and is 100 percent guaranteed. This will run until October 21, 2020. It will benefit 45 lakh units, allowing them to resume activity and secure jobs.

Rs 20,000 crore will be borne by secondary debt to stressful MSMEOs with equity problems. 2 lakh MSMEs will benefit from this liquidity line. All are eligible for NPA 'or Stressful MSME Scheme. The government will provide Rs 4,000 crore to CGTMSEs, which will provide partial guarantees to banks that benefit strained MSMEs.

For MSMEs that want to expand their reach, an equity infusion of Rs 50,000 crore will be made under Funds, Off Funds.
