The decision to cancel the Std-12 examination taken in the meeting for this year in the state has been taken. It has been decided to cancel the Std-12 annual examination held by the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board for this year.
Introducing the decision, Education Minister Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that in the current situation of Corona transition, the Prime Minister of the country Shri Narendrabhai Modi announced on Tuesday that Std-12 CBSE examinations will not be held this year in the wider health interest of students.
After a detailed discussion in this regard in the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, the state government in support of the Prime Minister's decision has decided to cancel the Std-12 examinations to be held by the Board of Higher Secondary Education in Gujarat this year.
He said that the next steps regarding the examinations of this board will be taken by the state government as per the guidelines of the government of India.
