Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel has announced this 630.34 crore rupees Matabar aid package by adopting a sensitive approach regarding the comprehensive assessment of these reports and the submissions of farmers, farmers' organizations and public representatives.
More than 8 lakh earthlings in an area of approximately 9.1 lakh hectares of land in the state will get the benefit of this package.
Agriculture Minister Shri Raghavji Patel gave detailed details of this aid package announced by the state government under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel.
He said that under this generous support package, it has been determined that farmers who have suffered 33 percent and more crop loss will be given Rs. 6800 assistance will be provided from SDRF and state budget within a maximum limit of two hectares. While for the loss of plantain crop, a total of Rs. 30,000 per hectare assistance up to a maximum of two hectares (Rs.13500 per hectare from the SDRF budget plus additional assistance of Rs.16500 per hectare from the state budget) is provided in this package.

Farmers will not have to pay any fees or expenses for applying, the state government will bear the cost, the agriculture minister also said while giving details of this support package.

To get the benefit of the package, the farmers have to submit Village Sample No.8-A, Palm Plantation Pattern/Village Sample No. in the prescribed application form. 7-12, copy of bank passbook page showing Aadhaar number, mobile number, bank account number, IFSC code and name, “No-objection letter of consent” signed by the other holders stating that the benefit is given to one of the joint holders in case of joint account etc. Application should be made online in the prescribed format to Taluka Development Officer along with instrumental details.
